Northumbrian Water are officially best in the country when it comes to customer service, according to a survey of UK residents.

The 2022 Water Matters Report, carried out by the Consumer Council for Water (CCW), has shown that as well as providing the best customer service, Northumbrian has also been found as the best value for money, and the most trusted of all UK water and sewerage companies.

 

The incredible accolades follow a strong year of North East water workers helping customers with bursts, water quality requests, support with bills, financial help and assurances to those on the priority services register.

 

98% of customers surveyed agreed that they were satisfied with their water services, and 85% of households agreed that these were affordable.

 

The report, which is compiled with surveys taken from members of the public, also scored Northumbrian Water as having the fairest charges.

 

This year’s survey consisted of 5,502 telephone interviews with household water bill payers.
